Sales Engineer - Gujarat Region

Your Qualification:

  •  Minimum of 3 years sales experience in  selling capital  Equipments ideally in process machinery manufacturer with strong direct business with successful history in sales
  • Ideally Bachelor degree in Engineering related
  • or  Diploma technical degree or related experience
  • Proficiency in English next to mother language for given  sales territory
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Self-motivated, target-oriented and team player
  • Problem solving abilities and customer focus
Your Tasks :
  • Promote and advertise IKA’s machines to customers and end-users
  • Develop new customers for IKA and maintain the existing sales accounts.
  • Qualify, develop and document leads, organize the contacts on IKA’s mailing list and in the customer contact program
  • Increase IKA’s sales volumes and achieve the given yearly targets
  • Expand IKA’s market share in the assigned territories
  • Collect the info on customer’s needs and market information (e.g. competition activities)
  • Make sales analysis and submit a weekly job report (weekly leads, active projects, sales calls activity) to the RSM– West region and Business head - Process Technology
  • Maintain a good customer relationship so as to enable future business
  • Participate in seminars, exhibition and other activities related to process machines
  • Introduce IKA’s new products through presentations, demo’s and trials
  • Perform sales calls and presentations to key customers
  • Execute/assist the marketing activity in the region in coordination with the marketing team
  • Process all leads and follow-up with the customers
  • Document all applications to provide demos and trials to customer.
  • Support during installation, trials and breakdown in the region
  • Manage and coordinate tradeshows within the region and participate in them
