Texas Sales Manager

Wilmington, NC/United States

Your tasks: 

  • Penetrate and develop new accounts for IKA Process mixers and systems
  • Specify and quote appropriate equipment or system according to the customer’s needs
  • Maintain existing sales accounts while developing new key accounts
  • Perform sales calls and presentations and/or key account seminars to customers
  • Qualify, develop and document leads and organize contacts on IKA mailing list and customer contact program
  • Process all leads and follow-up with customers
  • Provide assistance on testing, both in-house, and at customer’s facilities.Also start-up assistance as needed
  • Report leads, active projects, and sales activity to Director of Sales
  • Document applications, organize, and provide project management
  • Qualify customer applications, coordinate, provide support, and assist in-house trials for customers
  • Qualify customer applications, provide necessary forms and provide in-field support on equipment trials and demonstrations to qualified customers
  • Manage and coordinate tradeshows within region
  • Participate in meetings, organizations and industry activities
  • Some travel required
  • Other duties may be assigned
 Your qualifications: 
  • Bachelor’s degree (BS) in Science from a four-year college or university or equivalent experience
  • One year minimum related experience in industrial sales
  • Experience in fluid dynamic calculations in particular hydrodynamics, homogenizing, emulsifiying, dispersing, rotor/stator technology and associated process or plant design a plus
